Brooke Karnes

Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist
Brooke has an Associates degree in Business. She has also completed her course work and state examination to practice as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Her goal is to help her patients get the most from their hearing abilities and will work with you in a friendly and encouraging manner.


Gina Litka

Office Assistant
Gina has been with Darr & Associates, Inc. thirty years. She is our patient care coordinator; her smiling face is your first contact when you walk through our door. Her voice is who you hear on the phone. She works to identify your problem and get you the help you need. She wants you to feel comfortable coming to our Darr & Associates family for your hearing healthcare needs.

Gina and her husband have two grown children. She is a twenty year member of a local euchre club, and also enjoys spending time at their lake property in the summer reading, fishing and just relaxing.


Brenda Herman

Office Manager
Brenda has been with Darr & Associates ten years. Her main responsibilities revolve around bookkeeping, maintaining our patient data base, and helping with our shipping and receiving. She also helps out on special projects and is our "go to gal".

Brenda and her husband have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She keeps us entertained with stories about the little ones! Brenda is an avid sewer and brings in items she makes for all of us. She is now treasurer of the St. Joseph County Extension Homemakers and an officer of the Rosary Society. She also plays golf, enjoys reading, and gardening in her spare time.


Debra Curl

I moved from Jackson, Mi in 2009 when my husband was transferred to South Bend, IN.

We have two grown sons, and a beautiful grandson, Cooper who is the center of our universe...oh, and I can't forget our 2 little Chihuahuas, Xena and Ruby who constantly keep us entertained!

I have been working in the Hearing Healthcare industry for about two years, and really enjoy what I do. I learn something new every single day and I really get a lot of satisfaction from helping people with their hearing difficulties. Prior coming to Darr, I worked at several office positions and I had been in the food service industry for many years.

I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and working in my yard tending my flower and herb garden.
My husband and I also love exploring our new "home state," every weekend is an adventure!
